Broward County School Board Members, Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn, District Administrators and Local Elected Officials

WHAT:
Broward County Public Schools is hosting its first news conference of the 2025/26 school year, marking the first day of school and sharing key updates from across the District.

WHEN:
TODAY, Monday, August 11, 2025
3 p.m.

WHERE:
Kathleen C. Wright Administration Center, Boardroom

Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

WHY:
The news conference will recap the Superintendent’s and District leaders’ visits to schools across the District, where they welcomed students, families, teachers and staff. Leaders will also provide updates on the first day of school.
